Phoenix Optical Technologies has once again shown it’s commitment by presenting the winner Mathew Ireland with a in-house produced glass award for the Photonics Academy – Summer School celebrations and awards day based at OpTIC in St. Asaph, North Wales.

“Phoenix Optical Technologies has delivered a really huge contribution to the whole day, for which I personally was most grateful.  Once again, they demonstrated a huge interest in the up-and-coming scientists-in-the-making, and for  Phoenix Technologies to create such a wonderful, and permanent for Matthew Ireland, Award, still leaves me almost speechless, as it did last year.  I had never mentioned to any of the students that Phoenix, would be thoughtful, and generous, enough to make such a Presentation again this year, and the surprise element was part of the quality of the Presentation itself.”
